How to use wings in Chained Together

Posted 14th July 2024

Chained Together can be a difficult game and provides a few ways to keep you from launching your wireless mouse through your monitor. You can teleport back to the nearest safe location and beginner mode even allows you to teleport back to your previous highest point if you fall too far. Another mechanic in the game is the ability to fly using wings.

Before you can use them, however, you need to find all 10 wings throughout the level. You can check out my 100% Achievement Guide for all the locations.

Once you've found all the wings, you need to enable them in the main menu. Hit the play button, and before you enter the lobby settings, check the "USE WINGS" checkbox. You'll get a message indicating that your score will not be added to the leaderboard when using wings.

Start a new game and you should now have beautiful angelic wings on your back, and a halo above your head. To use your wings, double jump and hold the jump button to start flapping. The wings are great for jumping some longer distances you wouldn't normally be able to easily, and recovering when you miss a jump and start falling into the abyss below.
